The Feather River Tea Party Patriots announced a Town Hall meeting and Ice Cream Social with Wendell Anderson, Yuba County Sheriff-Coroner Elect as the Special Guest Speaker Monday, July 16, 2018.
Wendell Anderson is currently a Yuba County Sheriff’s Lieutenant, Chief of the Detective Bureau and Yuba County’s SWAT Commander. He is a lifelong Yuba County resident and 21-year veteran of the Yuba County Sheriff’s Department.
He will discuss with the attendees the duties of the Sheriff-Coroner, his priorities when he takes office, his understanding of the U.S. Constitution, including the Second Amendment. Come hear his positions on illegal immigration, sanctuary cities, working with ICE. What are his plans to combat the illegal commercial marijuana grows in the county? How will he address the marijuana related crimes? What are his thoughts on the California DOJ Armed and Prohibited Persons System (APPS), the firearm confiscation raids in our area?
He will be open to all questions from the audience followed by an Ice Cream Social where he will address individual concerns. People from the surrounding counties are encouraged to attend. The operation of the sheriffs of each local county impacts everyone in the area.
Lt. Anderson graduated from Lindhurst High School and the Yuba College Police Academy, where he now serves as an instructor. He has the endorsement of the current Yuba County Sheriff, Steve Durfor, and 16 current County Sheriffs in California.

Everyone is welcome. There is no membership and no cost to attend. The Feather River Tea Party Patriots meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. sharp and will be held at the Crossroads Community Church, 445 B Street, Yuba City.
